Research Use Only Policy

Definition

All products sold by Prescott Bio Canada are classified as Research Use Only (RUO) materials, intended exclusively for laboratory research use only (in vitro). Products are sold in lyophilized (powder) form and are not manufactured, marketed, or sold as drugs, pharmaceuticals, food additives, medical devices, cosmetics, or household chemicals.

Intended Use

Products are intended for use as analytical reference materials in qualified laboratory settings. Acceptable applications include assay development, method development, and use as analytical reference standards. Products are not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical use.

What We Will Not Provide

Prescott Bio Canada does not provide dosing instructions, reconstitution guidance for in vivo applications, administration protocols, or clinical advice of any kind. We cannot advise on use in humans or animals. We can provide COA/SDS documentation and general storage information.

Who We Sell To

We sell to qualified research institutions and businesses. All accounts are subject to verification of institutional affiliation and intended use before catalog and pricing access is granted. Orders from unverified accounts or accounts that do not meet our verification criteria may be declined.

Misuse Policy

Prescott Bio Canada reserves the right to cancel orders, block accounts, and refuse service to any individual or entity suspected of purchasing products for non-research purposes. Orders may be cancelled and refunded if we suspect non-research intent.

Buyer Responsibility

The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that all products are used in compliance with applicable federal, provincial, and local regulations. The buyer assumes all liability for the use, handling, storage, and disposal of products purchased from Prescott Bio Canada.
